Built by a player.
For players like her.
Emma Bolton is 16 years old, a competitive volleyball player, and a co-founder of the facility she helped inspire. Every week, she and her sister drive across San Antonio — to the east side, downtown, the south side — just to play at a serious facility.
Hundreds of families in Helotes, Leon Valley, the Culebra corridor, and along 1604 make that same drive. The northwest corridor is one of the fastest-growing residential areas in the city. The families are here. The demand is here. The facility is not — yet.
So Emma and her father Eric decided to build it. Digz is named for the emergency save in volleyball — a player fully laid out, doing whatever it takes to keep the ball alive. Grit made visible. That's what this place will be.
